About
Dr. Cristian Carattini is originally from Cayey, Puerto Rico, and earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Dominican Republic in 2013. Although he entered the veterinary field later in his career, his passion for animals began much earlier. Growing up surrounded by animals, he developed a deep appreciation for the bond they share with one another and with humans. This early exposure ignited his desire to improve their lives through veterinary care. Dr. Carattini has been happily married to Adjanie since 2013, and together they share their home with two beloved dogs: Victoria, a Maltese mix full of love, and Biscuit, an energetic pup who loves to run, play, and occasionally remember to eat.
Throughout his career, Dr. Carattini has gained diverse medical experience by practicing in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the United States. He currently serves as the Clinic Manager, where he handles a wide range of cases and works closely with both Dr. Teeples and Dr. Harris, collaborating on various medical cases and expanding his knowledge in veterinary medicine. He has a particular passion for soft tissue surgery, dental surgery, dermatology, sports medicine, and geriatric care.
Dr. Carattini believes that education is key to preventing infectious diseases and overpopulation, and he is dedicated to educating pet owners and the broader community on responsible pet care. He is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
