Spay & Neuter
Better for your pet, better for the pet population
Don’t get us wrong—we love puppies and kittens! That being said, spaying and neutering your pets is vital to not only their health and safety, but for the larger pet population as well. Every year thousands of animals are euthanized in the US due to lack of a good home. When you get your pet spayed or neutered, you’re helping to both reduce this number and to help homeless pets find their fur-ever homes.
It’s healthier for your pet as well! A pet that is spayed or neutered can be less likely to develop certain types of cancer. Additionally, a dog or cat that’s been “fixed” is less likely to exhibit unwanted behaviors like aggression, marking, or roaming. We’ll take excellent care of your pet on this important day, and make sure that you get all the information and medications you need for their recovery time at home. If you have questions about the right time to spay or neuter your pet, give us a call at 706-221-4115.
